ContractorCX is a service of TEAMTREMAINE LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, entity number 4906263. ContractorCX is a registered trade name of TEAMTREMAINE LLC. In this document, "we", "us" and "our" mean TEAMTREMAINE LLC trading as ContractorCX.
1. Which messages this covers
This page covers messages ContractorCX sends to you about ContractorCX — the ones you agree to on our contact form or when you become a customer.
It does not cover messages you receive from a contractor who uses our service to run their own business number. Those messages are sent by that business, under their own consent and their own terms, and replying STOP to them stops their messages, not ours.
2. What we send
- Replies to an enquiry you sent us
- Messages about setting up, moving or supporting your phone service — scheduling a call, confirming a porting date, telling you about something happening to your number
- Service and account notices, including billing and outage notices
These are conversational messages from a person, not marketing blasts. We do not send promotional or advertising text messages, and we do not text people who have not asked us to.
3. How you opt in
By ticking the consent box on our contact form, or by giving us your mobile number and agreeing in writing when you become a customer.
The box is not ticked for you, and ticking it is not a condition of anything. We will answer your enquiry, quote you, and sell you the service whether you agree to texts or not. It only decides whether we may reply by text rather than by phone or email.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies, because these are replies and service notices rather than a campaign on a schedule. In practice this means a handful of messages while we are talking to you or setting you up, and then only when something happens to your account.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for the messages; your mobile carrier may, according to your plan.
6. How to stop — STOP
Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop texting you. You will get one final message confirming it. You can also email hello@contractorcx.com and ask us to stop, and we will do the same thing. Opting out of texts does not cancel your service and does not stop us contacting you by phone or email about your account.
We also honour UNSUBSCRIBE, END, CANCEL, QUIT and similar. To start again, reply START or ask us.
7. How to get help — HELP
Reply HELP to any message and you will get a reply with our name and how to reach us. You can also email hello@contractorcx.com at any time. A person reads it.
8. Carriers and delivery
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not text at unreasonable hours; automated messages are sent within permitted hours in the recipient's own time zone.
9. Your information
Your phone number and your consent record are handled as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell phone numbers, and we do not share them with third parties for marketing.
