Pricing

What it costs, in public.

Two things are true at once and we'd rather print both than pick the flattering one. We're taking four founding customers right now, and they don't pay a subscription. And here is what it will cost when we start charging properly.

Right now

Founding customers: no subscription, no setup fee.

Founding customers pay no subscription, no seat fee and no setup fee. You cover the actual phone-company charges your business runs up — minutes and texts — at what they cost us plus a small markup. For most one- and two-truck shops that's somewhere around twenty to forty dollars a month, depending on how busy your phone is. We're covering the lights and the taxes, and that's all.

We are not making money on you during this, on purpose: we'd rather have the feedback. There's no contract, no minimum term and nothing to cancel — and if you ever leave, your number goes with you.

Founding pricing doesn't expire when we start charging properly.

Three tiers, by the size of your shop.

Not a feature ladder where the useful thing is one tier up. The same system either way — you're paying for how many people are on it and how much the phone rings.

Minutes are counted honestly

We bill the true duration in seconds. Nobody's forty-second call becomes a minute on your invoice, and voicemail isn't charged as a full minute either. It's a small thing that quietly adds up in the other direction everywhere else.

If you go over the allowance

The allowance is set so most shops never see a variable line on the invoice. We haven't finished setting the overage and add-on rates, and we're not going to print a number we might have to change. No founding customer will ever be billed against a rate that wasn't agreed with them in writing first, and the full rate card goes on this page before anybody is charged a subscription.

Month to month. Port out any time. If you leave, your number goes with you the same week.
